Founded in 2020, Cider is a social-first fashion brand, operating as a global e-commerce platform. Cider has partnered with Ringo Studio to translate brand aspirations into a physical space in the heart of NYC. Cider Pop-up not only seeks to leave a lasting impression of the brand, but also aims to cultivate a vibrant community presence and interact with their digital native consumers.

Research --- Brand Objectives
As a Gen-Z fashion brand, Cider's goal through this project was to connect with the consumers through an immersive retail experience, beyond the limitations of online platforms. Embracing the core value of inclusivity, the brand wanted to celebrate the uniqueness of each individual by presenting a thoughtfully curated collection of clothing tailored for specific occasions and diverse aesthetics.






Research --- Site Visit
Surrounded by retail neighbors like GOLF and Maison Margiela, 33 Howard St. is a prime spot in NYC Soho to welcome the brand. Despite its narrow dimensions, the length of the venue creates an elongated canvas for the retail experiences.

Process --- Moodboard, Design

Inspired from the brand and site, Ringo Studio saw the potential in offering flexible configurations for both retail displays and community events. The design is a fusion of vibrant pastels and adaptable modular elements, drawing inspiration from the world of fashion runways and the artistic flair seen in Nicolas Party's immersive exhibitions.
